Forgot About Gravity

Hey! Oh! Hey! Oh! You’re coming down, down, down Nobody’s catching you now Climbed over everyone just to keep your worthless crown But look at you now... The bigger they are, the harder they fall Down, down, down to the ground For all these years everyone’s been waiting on your word You kept talking like your voice was something that deserved to be heard Years up on that chair got you thinking you were wise Now you don’t SEE the people standing right before your eyes There was a line at your door, so you figured you were gold Every favor, every answer made you feel extremely bold If they wanted something done, they had to come through you Somewhere in that power, forgot that they were people too You forgot about gravity It’ll all come around You’re coming down, down, down Nobody’s catching you now Climbed over everyone just to keep your worthless crown But look at you now... The bigger they are, the harder they fall Down, down, down to the ground Kept pulling on the strings, kept giving more excuses Then the room got really quiet when they all started refusing All that weight beneath your feet was never yours to own Now all the people walked away and left you falling all alone You forgot about gravity It’ll all come around You’re coming down, down, down Nobody’s catching you now Climbed over everyone just to keep your worthless crown But look at you now... The bigger they are, the harder they fall Down, down, down to the ground They all stopped calling No more lining up at your door No one needs permission No one needs you anymore You’re sitting there alone Trying to run what doesn’t exist You thought you were holding all the power But the people saw through your tricks No calls No crowds No hands reaching out for you now No calls No crowds No hands reaching out for you now Now Now Now You’re coming down, down, down Nobody’s catching you now Climbed over everyone just to keep your worthless crown But look at you now... The bigger they are, the harder they fall Down, down, down to the ground Fall....Down Down....Ground Same dirt....Same ground Not profound...
