This one is about opening up. Until now, almost everything on ViiBR lived behind the login, so a shared link mostly landed on a sign-in page. That changes this week. Here is what is new, by who it is for.

The site opened up

Song pages, creator and streamer pages, and public playlists are now viewable and playable without signing in. Share a link anywhere, and whoever taps it can actually hear the song. You only need an account when you want to act: star, comment, submit.
A proper mobile pass: real portrait navigation, layouts that fit, no more sideways scrolling. If your thumb still finds something broken, tell us and we will fix that too.
Public songs and pages are now indexable, with a sitemap covering every public track. Your music can be found by people who have never heard of us.

For everyone

A little dock in the corner where you collect tracks as you browse: drag a cover in or use the track menu, from any page. When you are done digging, turn the whole crate into a playlist in one move.
See what is coming, drag it into the order you want. The player also grew EQ presets if you like your bass boosted.
Your starred songs on the dashboard play as one list now, with Play all, Shuffle, and search when the collection gets big.
You can play entries straight from the ranking board, rounds show entry limits and cover art, and the weekly runs now appear on the calendar so you can plan your masterpiece.
The boring-but-important pages are published, linked from the footer.

For creators

Post your song page or profile anywhere, and listeners land on the actual music, no account wall. Combined with search indexing, this is the week your ViiBR page became shareable for real.
Reorder and show or hide the sections of your profile page, same as the creator page arrange mode from last week.
Built and in final testing: a ready-made promo card for your song, with a short link and QR code, sized for sharing on socials. When your song is picked for a curated playlist, you get the kit for it, and we will be pushing your track on the ViiBR socials too. One more reason to submit, and the reason behind the Terms of Service update above.

For curators

Your own page gathering your playlists and bio, and a Curators tab in the Community directory alongside creators and streamers. Sharing it unfurls with a proper preview card.
Heard something perfect for your playlist? Send the creator a request, and they approve it from their inbox. No more asking people to resubmit.

Under the hood we also ran a security review and tightened things up, and the Circuit vote-count hiccup from Saturday was fixed the same morning. Still plenty cooking that is not ready to show. Tell us what works and what does not, the feedback form on the site reaches us fast.

Plenty landed since the last one, some of it never posted here until now. The headline piece has been running quietly in staff testing and opens to everyone this week. Here is what is new, by who it is for.

The Circuit (opening to everyone this week)

A new kind of contest, built to run on a schedule instead of as a one-off. Each round: make a track for the theme, then judge pairs, two songs at a time, picking the better one a handful of times. You have to hear both before you pick, there is a small minimum so everyone pulls their weight, and you can change any pick before voting closes. A ranking falls out of the head to heads, the top three get a Discord podium with links to the songs, and points roll up into a pinned, always-current season leaderboard. It has been in an internal staff test run on real songs and real votes, and it goes live to everyone this coming week.

For everyone

A counter in the top bar with a tap-through of your recent activity. You earn it for listening now, and soon for voting and placing in The Circuit. It will unlock some perks down the line. We are still experimenting with and tuning it, so it may get reset before then. Points for taking part, not a currency, and separate from Skips.
Cleaner layout with generated cover art, and play, favourite, share, and add-or-submit to a playlist or stream all right there. Every song has a comment thread now too.
Attach the story behind a track and read it before you listen, under Community → Stories. Post lyrics for anyone to turn into a song, with covers that link back, under Community → Lyric sheets.
The old docked sidebar is gone. What is playing lives in a cleaner dock, the music video sits in a tile you can dismiss and bring back, and the full Stage is one tap away.
Contests and Leaderboards are their own tabs with season boards that load as you scroll. On the homepage you can star pinned playlists and play individual featured tracks. Links, stars, and real cover art are consistent across track rows and playlist cards everywhere.

For streamers and hosts

Bring someone on to run a stream with you, for one show or a whole series. They share the controls and are credited next to your name everywhere.
An optional weighted queue that gives people who have waited longer or been skipped a stronger chance to play next.
A host dashboard: who is spending, who might be drifting off, and how evenly air time is spread.

For curators and creators

Feedback on a submission is a back-and-forth thread now, and you can move a submitted track to another of your playlists without a resubmit.
Drag your public page into the order you want, live, and it saves as visitors see it.
Submitting makes a track public so it can be played and voted on, with a heads-up first if it was private.

A track's page now points back to where it lives on Suno or YouTube, and stream viewers can play tracks and follow those links right from the stream page.

Hosts get a real console: queue, skips, controls, and now-playing in one purpose-built layout. Viewers get a clean listening page with none of the host clutter.
Every stream now has a broadcast screen built to be captured in OBS or screen-shared: big cover art, lyrics, visualisers, and a Showcase layout dressed in your theme. It stays in sync with your console, down to the lyric scroll position.
Streamer pages gather your schedule, past streams, and bio in one place, the Community directory now lists streamers alongside creators, and sharing your page unfurls with a proper preview card.

For contest organisers

Theme Vote: entrants make a track for a theme and the community ranks the winners, with point weights you control. Judged: you or a guest judge hears the entries wherever you like and appoints the ranked winners on the site, no public vote. That's four formats to pick from now.

Subscribe to anyone from their profile (the ⋯ menu), or manage all your subscriptions from Settings → Notifications, and get a Discord DM before they go live. Everyone starts subscribed to Foggy and Angel; the rest is yours to pick. Link your Discord in Settings to receive the DMs.
Lock-screen and media-key controls (play, pause, next, seek from your headset or car), keyboard shortcuts for everything with a ? cheat-sheet, repeat-one and repeat-all, and pick up where you left off: reload the page and your queue, track, and position come back.
The new /playlists directory lists them all with search and sort by newest, A to Z, or creator. Reach it from the "Browse all" link on the homepage.

We put real work into cutting load times, and we finally moved off free-tier hosting to keep up with how much you're all using it. Things should feel noticeably snappier; tell us if anything still drags.

Curator calls ping you right away, and My submissions is now its own view so you can see everything in flight.
Playlists can show genre tags and reference tracks, so you know the sound a curator is after. If your track is declined, the "better-fit playlist" suggestions are now ranked by how well they actually match.

Skipping the line in a stream isn't new — hosts have been honouring it on vibes alone for a while. What's new is that the app actually knows about it now. You have a balance, the queue is a real queue, the host has a button.

How it works

Hit ⚡ Skip the line on your row in the stream pool. Your track jumps into the "Up next" queue. The host plays from that queue before any random pick. Spend one, jump one slot.

Your balance shows up as a ⚡ N chip in the nav. Full history (every grant, spend, and refund) lives at /dashboard/skips.

Where balance comes from

For now, one source: link your Discord under Settings → Linked Accounts, boost the AI Umbrella server, and you get 2 skips per month. The sync runs nightly. The 2/mo allowance doesn't roll over — use them or they expire at month-end.

We're working on more ways to earn skips inside the app — think contest prizes, streak rewards, occasional "we did a thing" admin grants. Possibly a ⚡ Mystery Skip Lootbox loot crate gacha mechanic where you spin a wheel and win between 1 and 1 skips.

(That last one is a joke.) (Mostly.)

What's not on the menu: buying skips with money. Skips aren't pay-to-win and they're not going to be. Boosting the Discord gets you 2 because you're already supporting the community, not as a backdoor purchase. Everything else will be earned through participation.

What hosts get

Two new controls when a queue has stuff in it:

Hosts (and admins) can also cancel a viewer's skip mid-queue. Cancelled-within-the-same-month booster skips get refunded.

Opting out

A host who'd rather run pure-random can untick ⚡ Enable Skips when creating a stream. Existing streams default to on.

You started a stream, you've got an audience, your buddy shows up and wants to take over. Until now your options were "keep clicking Next Random" or "end the stream and have them start a fresh one." Neither is great.

There's a Hand off button now. Click it on any stream you're hosting, search for the streamer you want to give it to, confirm. They become the host. You become a viewer. The queue, playlist, history, all settings carry over — the audience doesn't notice unless they look at the host name.

Who can do this

The target needs the streamer role (or be an admin). Contest streams are fair game too — common case the organiser isn't a streamer themselves and delegates the live show to a friend with the role.

Where to find it

In the host controls row on the stream page, between Notify Listeners and End Stream. The little Hand off button — easy to miss because it's deliberately understated. Behind it is a typeahead picker that lists every eligible streamer with avatar and handle.

Handoffs are immediate (no invite/accept dance) and reversible — the new host can hand it back. Be intentional about who you hand to.
