ViiBR terms

The plain-English version

The short version of the important stuff · Read the full Terms of Service
This summary is here to help explain our Terms of Service. It isn’t a substitute for them. If anything here conflicts with the full Terms, the Terms of Service control.

Your stuff is yours

Posting music, art, videos, or anything else to ViiBR does not give us ownership of it.

Only share stuff you have the right to share

If it’s someone else’s work, or contains material you aren’t authorized to use, don’t submit it.

You’re giving us permission to use what you submit

Depending on how you share it, that can include hosting it, playing it on ViiBR, including it in playlists, streams and contests, letting authorized streamers play it, and using it to promote you and ViiBR.

Make sure you can actually give us those rights

If a label, publisher, PRO, distributor, collaborator, or anyone else controls rights to your work, it’s your responsibility to make sure your ViiBR submission is allowed and doesn’t create an undisclosed licensing or payment obligation for us.

You’re responsible for what you submit

If you submit something you weren’t authorized to submit and it creates a legal claim against ViiBR, the Terms make you responsible for the consequences.

We can remove content

We can remove or restrict content and accounts when necessary.

You can delete your stuff

Deleted material may remain temporarily in backups and certain previously created streams and promotional materials.

We’re a platform, not a promise of success

We don’t guarantee plays, promotion, contest placement, followers, money, uptime, or permanent storage.

We’re limiting our liability

To the extent the law permits, ViiBR isn’t responsible for losses arising from users, their content, third-party services, or use of the platform.

Copyright complaints have a process

We’ll maintain a copyright/DMCA procedure for rights holders who believe their work has been used improperly.

Some features will have extra rules

Contests, monetization, merch, artist payments, third-party streaming, and similar features may have additional terms when they launch.

The actual Terms control

This summary makes the important ideas understandable. If there’s ever a conflict between this summary and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service are the legal agreement.
