Lyrics
Why do I feel this way again? Why am I holding on To feelings I shouldn't be? I'm happy now, aren't I? I have someone who cares for me, Someone to call when I'm alone, Someone who's always there... So why do I feel this way still? Why am I still scared? Still insecure? Still holding on to tragedies I should've fucking let go... It's not fair... It's not fair to you... My insecurities are a part of me, That I could never let go. Dragging me down a hall full of mirrors, And I don't know where to go. My insecurities are a part of me, That I fucking can't let go! My insecurities are killing me, But I'm trying for you, though! Trying to be better, Trying to let go, Trying to change my life, 'Cause it's not fair to you. Not fair to them, Not fair to me... You should have me at my best, Not when I'm a mess. My insecurities are a part of me, That I could never let go. Dragging me down a hall full of mirrors, And I don't know where to go. My insecurities are a part of me, That I fucking can't let go! My insecurities are killing me, But I'm trying for you, though! I'm trying for you... I'm trying for you... And I'm sorry... For the things I put you through, For questioning your love When you've given me no reason to. I know you're not the one Who made me feel this way. But somehow I'm still afraid That you'll hurt me just the same. AND I HATE THAT I'M LIKE THIS! I HATE THAT I CAN'T CHANGE! YOU DESERVE SOMEONE WHO ISN'T SO AFRAID! But I swear... I'm trying. My insecurities are a part of me, That I could never let go. Dragging me down a hall full of mirrors, And I don't know where to go. My insecurities are a part of me, That I could never let go. Dragging me down a hall full of mirrors, And I don't know where to go. My insecurities are a part of me, That I could never let go. Dragging me down a hall full of mirrors, And I don't know where to go. But I swear... I'm trying.
