Lyrics
“Messenger of Dreams” is an alternative rock x dream pop song inspired by my 2007 story The Story Whisperers. A surreal journey through clouds, whispers, and imagination, it’s about why we write and dream—how stories live between sleeping and waking. Ethereal guitars, layered vocals, and cinematic emotion carry this ode to creativity that never dies. Silver moon, a door of light, Children whisper fate tonight. [Pre-Chorus] Shadows dancing, angels sing, Fire and feather, blood they bring. The world below, the world inside, Dream and waking intertwined. [Chorus] I am the Messenger of dreams, Carrying whispers through the streams. Stories born where shadows meet the light, Imagination keeps alive the night. [Verse 2] Voices call from distant skies, Lonely truths behind their eyes. Flames that burn but never fade, Bound by vows the dreamers made. [Pre-Chorus] Every bond a feather, blood, and flame, Carved into the heart, it bears my name. Though I wake, I never leave, Their voices live in what I weave. [Chorus] I am the Messenger of dreams, Carrying whispers through the streams. Stories born where shadows meet the light, Imagination keeps alive the night. [Bridge] If I fall, will they still call? If I rise, will I dream at all? Every tale, a flame to keep— I burn, I bleed, I never sleep. [Final Chorus] I am the Messenger of dreams, Carrying whispers through the seams. Stories born where shadows kiss the skies, Imagination never dies.
