Lyrics
Well, I stood upon the sand of the trembling sea... And a beast rose up, and he looked right at me. He had seven heavy heads and a crown of rusted thorns, And the sky went black on the very day he was born. I saw the stars fall down like figs from the tree! I heard the mountains crying out, "Fall on me!" And the angels blew on the brass and bone! (Blow, Gabriel, blow!) Yeah, the angels blew on the brass and bone! And the blood rained down on the judgement throne! I said, Hallelujah! (Hallelujah!) Here comes the fire! (Here comes the fire!) Wash my wicked soul in the burning pyre! Now the Lamb stepped up, and He broke the seal. (Come and see!) And I heard the terrible grind of the iron wheel. Out rode a horse... and that horse was pale. With Hell right behind him, riding on his tail. He had a scythe in his hand and a hollowed-out eye, He brought the reckoning down, and the earth began to die. And the angels blew on the brass and bone! There was silence in heaven... for the space of half an hour. Just the sound of the locusts, gathering in the tower. They got faces like men... and teeth like a lion. And they’re marching on down to the ruins of Zion. But don't you weep, little children, don't you shed a tear. Because the Alpha and the Omega... He is standing right here! Then the sky rolled up like a parchment scroll! (Roll it up, Lord!) And the fire came down and it swallowed my soul! I saw a new city coming out of the dust, Where the gold don't tarnish and the iron don't rust! There ain't no need for the sun, there ain't no need for the moon, 'Cause the Glory of God is gonna light up the room! I said, Hallelujah! (Hallelujah!) Hallelujah! (Hallelujah!) Wipe every tear from their crying eyes! (Hallelujah!) The old world is dead, let the new world rise! (Let it rise!) Let it rise! (Let it rise!) Amen. (Amen.) Amen!
