For a second, this looked like the old room. I can't remember their voice anymore. I thought I could, but… no. I remember how the room felt when they were in it. I don't want any of it back… That's not what I mean… I'd just like to be there for a minute… Just long enough to look around… A song came on earlier. And suddenly ten years didn't feel that long. I was still here. It just didn't feel like here. I still don't want it back… I just wish I could walk into that room for a minute… Not change anything… Not stay… Some of those places… I wasn't even happy there. So why do I miss them? Maybe I just miss knowing where everything was. Even the things I wanted to leave. I don't want the past back… I think I just want to know it was real… I'd stand there for a minute… Then I'd go… The chair is still by the window.
