If Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2869358670) is ok, that would be rad, but if not, no biggie ...This old film reel was discovered in a hidden compartment during the murder investigation at Sweetheart Mansion. Destiny (the singer) is a mysteriously everlasting being that has been documented all across history (she hibernates for decades at a time). She only wakes to fight... or so we thought!!! So, spoiler alert, but this song was written about HER. Visit SweetheartProWrestling.com for episodes, stickers, and more!
Lyrics
[Verse 1] At the end of the room She leaned into the light No name he could recall No face from that night Something in the stillness A faded page; torn He swore he had seen her Long before he was born [Pre-Chorus] In a locket snapped shut In a phonograph scratch In a print on the dresser In the strike of a match [Chorus] I have seen her before I have seen her before Within every frame And beyond every door I have seen her before On the edge of a shadow The woman who wakes At the end of an echo [Verse 2] That same hush at the threshold That same sigh in the air He asked if they'd met once But the silence did not care [Pre-Chorus 2] In a balcony seat At a lost matinee On a handbill half-hidden From a lifetime away I have seen her before I have seen her before Within every frame And beyond every door I have seen her before On the edge of a shadow The woman who wakes At the end of an echo [Bridge] Maybe time forgets a name Maybe longing has a face Maybe every lost thing Leaves a lingering trace [Final Chorus] I have seen her before I have seen her before Within every frame And beyond every door I have seen her before On the edge of a shadow The woman who wakes At the end of an echo
