Slow Like Fire (-Stara-)

You trace my collarbone Name every freckle you find Laugh when your hair falls over My mouth My mind Curtain half-open Street hum fading to hush Your knee climbing higher My pulse starts to rush I wanna love you slowly Lose the days in this bed Eyes crossing Breath stopping Chasing every word you never said Sweat on your shoulder Salt I taste when you turn I wanna love you slowly Till our names both blur and burn You twist the sheet in your fist Pull me back when I slide Say “Stay right here Don’t hurry” That look cuts through my pride Your lip between your teeth You whisper what you want I answer with my hands Let the silence taunt I wanna love you slowly Lose the days in this bed Eyes crossing Breath stopping Chasing every word you never said Sweat on your shoulder Salt I taste when you turn I wanna love you slowly Till our names both blur and burn You roll You rise Body heat like tide Every shiver Every sigh Writes a secret in your spine “Don’t stop Don’t stop” You say it soft then loud We fall apart together Then come back. (oh god baby again!) I wanna love you slowly Lose the days in this bed Eyes crossing Breath stopping Chasing every word you never said Sweat on your shoulder Salt I taste when you turn I wanna love you slowly Till our names both blur and burn
