Lyrics
[THURSDAY -- DR MANNLICHER'S OFFICE 3PM] [PATIENT: HILLARY VON VANDERSON] I just want my pills… How am I doing? Why do you always ask me this? What does it even accomplish? How am I feeling? Beyond the constant sense of spinning and reeling? What are you trying to start? Are you trying to get me to fall apart? Don’t try to be smart with me I’m not having it today I’m okay I’m mean I’m not okay But I’m not NOT okay Do you know what I mean? What am I trying to say Anyway Can we not talk about this today? I’m okay I mean I’m not okay But I’m not NOT okay Do you know what I mean? What am I trying to say Anyway Oh my god Can you just stop Pick picking away Just let me get through this day Without this conversation It just feels like an escalation Of your desperation To increase my aggravation And instigate some kind of confrontation And I’m not having it Okay? I’m sorry, I’ll stop this seething... Hold on, while I try deep breathing... Quiet please! I’m seizing this moment to realign my chakras by design and get myself back to balance and tranquility... a state of grace and gentility... There... Yes, there... I’m there... Oh yes so very there… I’m okay I’m okay I’m mean I’m not okay But I’m not NOT okay Do you know what I mean? What am I trying to say Anyway Can we not talk about this today? I’m okay I mean I’m not okay But I’m not NOT okay Do you know what I mean? What am I trying to say Anyway I’m not having it Ha-ha-having it I’m not having it Okay? Wait, what? Our time is up? Oh, great, well thank you. See you in a couple weeks. You are going to refill my prescription, right? Right?
