Lyrics
When I think back, All my idols were always rock stars, Childhood daydreams about neon guitars, Going to the punk shows just to get new scars, and chasing all the older girls because they had cars. Screaming out against the Machine, Raging parties, we were just teens, I didn't give a fuck about my self esteem. I didn't give a fuck about anything. I just wanted to run away, I needed to get away, from the sons of bitches that were killing my life buzz. I just wanted to rock all day, I didn't want any rent to pay, because I just wanted to be famous too. Remember how you used to talk all that shit, you said I would never really ever make it, said I should just suck less and quit, get a day job and get over it. World Tour Rock show, Stage lights that make me glow, you scream my name and I don't know, I'm just up here living a dream, But I still don't give a fuck about anything. I just wanted to run away, I needed to get away, from the sons of bitches that were killing my life buzz. I just wanted to rock all day, I didn't want any rent to pay, because I just wanted to be famous too.
