[Intro – turntable scratches, low industrial bass, distant party ambience] [Spoken – calm, dead serious] They told us not to eat the food. They told us not to trust him. They told us to write everything down. 'Cause sooner or later... we'd forget. [Whisper] Gary. [Verse 1 – rhythmic rap, low baritone] He rolls up late with a cooler in his hand Same dumb smile, same homemade plan Cookout, house party, neighborhood scene “Hey everybody, guess what I brought to eat!” Chips on the table, pickles in a jar Guac so good you forget how weird you are Everybody's laughing, everybody's fine Then somebody asks— “Gary, what's inside?” He shrugs. “It's homemade.” That's when the room gets quiet That's when somebody gets sick That's when everybody realizes They already took a bite of it [Pre-Chorus – rising] WRITE IT DOWN! Remember his face! WRITE IT DOWN! Remember his name! You can remember everything— Except the fucking plate! [Chorus – explosive rap/shouted] GARY! DON'T EAT WHAT HE MAKES! GARY! DON'T TAKE WHAT HE GIVES! You remember the face! You remember the name! You remember the night! BUT YOU DON'T REMEMBER EATING IT! GARY! KETER AT LARGE! GARY! YOU CAN'T KEEP HIM OUT! He doesn't need a weapon! He doesn't need a gun! He just needs you to say— “YEAH, GARY... I'LL TAKE SOME!” [Verse 2 – aggressive rap] Four men walk in like: “Gary, you're coming with us.” Gary says: “For what?” “You know what this is.” [Gary starts laughing] “I really don't.” Walks to the kitchen. Comes back with a bowl. “Fellas... you want some?” NO! NO! NO! NO! Eleven minutes later— Everybody's eating. Nobody knows why. Gary looks around: “So what'd you guys say you were here for?” Dead silence. Blank eyes. Four agents standing there Like they just woke up inside somebody else's life. [Pre-Chorus] WHAT DID WE COME FOR? WHO SENT US HERE? WHY IS GARY SMILING? WHY CAN'T WE REMEMBER? [Chorus] GARY! DON'T EAT WHAT HE MAKES! GARY! DON'T TAKE WHAT HE GIVES! You remember the house! You remember the room! BUT YOU DON'T REMEMBER TAKING A BITE! GARY! KETER AT LARGE! LOCK EVERY DOOR! WATCH EVERY CAMERA! WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN! BEFORE YOU FORGET! [Verse 3 – faster rap, drums driving] Thirty-one people at a neighborhood party Twenty-seven ate, four said “Nah, I'm sorry” Next morning? Twenty-seven forgot. Four remembered. One woman said: “I know Gary.” “What do you know?” “I don't know.” That's the fucking problem! He's friendly! He's normal! He's cooking! He's pouring! He's smiling! And everybody keeps ignoring— The warning! The footage! The records! The evidence! You show them the tape— They say: “That isn't me.” You show them the plate— “I never ate that.” You show them Gary— “I remember him.” BUT NOTHING ELSE! [Breakdown – guitars slam in] MINUTE QUANTITIES! THAT'S ALL IT TAKES! BIOLOGICAL MATERIAL! IN EVERYTHING HE MAKES! [Distorted radio] All samples destroyed. Three days later... twelve containers appeared inside the Foundation. No access log. No camera footage. No alarm. [Whisper] HOMEMADE. [Build] WHO PUT THEM THERE?! GARY! WHO OPENED THE DOOR?! GARY! WHO LET HIM IN?! GARY! WHO REMEMBERS?! NOBODY! [Final Chorus – huge] GARY! DON'T EAT WHAT HE MAKES! GARY! DON'T TAKE WHAT HE GIVES! YOU REMEMBER HIS FACE! YOU REMEMBER HIS NAME! BUT YOU DON'T REMEMBER— WHAT YOU DID! GARY! KETER AT LARGE! GARY! YOU CAN'T KEEP HIM OUT! LOCK THE DOOR! WATCH THE CAMERA! WRITE HIS NAME! DON'T LET YOURSELF FORGET! [Silence] [Spoken – close mic] What happened in 1994? [Long pause] Gary stopped smiling. “You remember 1994?” Yeah. “I remember.” Gary smiled. “That's strange.” Why? “Because everybody else forgot.” [Low bass pulse] The next morning... A bowl sat outside my office. No fingerprints. No footage. No explanation. Just a note. [Whisper] “Thought you'd remember.” [Beat stops] [Gary – distant] Anybody want some? [LOUD GUITAR HIT]
