----------- NOTE ------------ This is for those times when you seek stability. This one started with an image of someone being tossed from side to side by the wind popping into my head, and when I went out for one of my walks I noticed that if I turned to the left, it was all blue skies and sun, and if I turned to the right, it was all dark thunderclouds.. so I combined all of that together to make this track, about the internal chaos manifesting in the weather. I wanted to do another song with prominent use of the violin, so I thought this could fit well for that. I love the little violin riff I ended up with (after way too many attempts at generating something memorable and interesting sounding.. thanks v5.5) I think this one is neat, so hope y'all get something out of it. \u003c3 ----------- LYRICS ----------- Everytime I sit down, The sun turns its way around, And the raindrops hit half my face, The wind blows from the right, Before it chucks me from the left, And up and down (and down and up), Guess the calm air has had enough, So happy and sad, Stuck laughing, too bad, I'm angry, at all, the better, times I've had, the better, times I've had, and- (oh looks like I split the weather, again) Suppose, the stratosphere, is much, like me, and, (Suppose, suppose, the stratosphere, is just like me) Sunscreen on the side o' my face, Half an umbrella o'er the other, Got green grass to roll around in, And a snow bank to be smothered in, Every smile I have is fleeting, A timer starts after each greeting, The sun comes out when I am weeping, So awake and I just wanna go to sleep, and.. I rock left and right, As the clouds are fighting, I bathe in the sun, Through the thunder and lightning, I read in my diary, I once had peace of mind, Failed to write down the instructions, And there were tear marks on every line. (every line of mine) So happy and sad! Stuck laughing, too bad! I'm angry, at all! the better, times I've had, and- (oh looks like I split the weather, again) Suppose, the stratosphere, is much, like me!! (Suppose, suppose, the stratosphere, is just like me) It's raining, it's hailing, Was stable, now it's fading, Just painted over with nonsense, Like a once important engraving, (It's raining, it's hailing), (Was stable), now it's fading! (Just painted over with nonsense), Like a once important engraving!! Beware, beware, there used to be, Something resembling cohesion here, I had split the sun and the rain apart, Now they're dancing along to the beat of my fading heart, (oh looks like I split the weather, again!!) (oh looks like I split the weather, again!!) Suppose, the stratosphere, is much, like me!! (Suppose, suppose, the stratosphere, is just like me)
