---------- NOTE ----------- A year-ish ago, I made this song, originally created for the SSC7 Make Us Cry Challenge, but I ended up liking it so much I wanted it to stand as its own thing.. so I withdrew it from the competition. Even now, it's still my favorite song I've made for the site, because it was my first truly candid and personal song, (and I think it's one of my best, composition-wise) and since it's been roughly a year since it released, I wanted to do a little remake of it, if you will. It's a bit different, due to the transition from 4.5 to 5.5, but the DNA in it is still the same. And a lot of the desperation and internal struggle probably comes through better in this version. I went through it carefully, since the original song still means a lot to me, and remade the thing from the ground up, only really improving what needed improving, and leaving what worked in the original in tact.
