Lyrics
[Intro] Yeah I had to let some things go Even when I didn't wanna I'm learning now... [Verse 1] I been taking my time, tryna find my way Had some nights I was scared I would never change Looking back at the person I used to be I forgive her, she was just tryna carry me Had to lose a few people just to find my peace Had to sit with the pain, let it talk to me Now the road ain't clear, but I'm walking still And I trust that the future gon' meet me here [Pre-Chorus] I don't know where this goes But I know what I know Every scar that I hold Made me stronger than before [Chorus] I'm moving forward, I ain't looking back I lost some things, but I found my path Even when the night gets heavy on me I tell myself, "Baby, you're gonna be okay" I'll be alright Even if it takes some time I'll be alright I can feel the sun coming through the blinds I'm letting go, I'm letting life unfold What's meant for me won't pass me by So I keep going, one day at a time I'll be alright [Verse 2] New chapter, new energy, new state of mind I don't need every answer, I just need tonight Got my heart on my sleeve, but I'm guarding my soul Learning love ain't something I gotta control I used to think that falling meant I couldn't fly Now I know every ending makes room for a new life So if I stumble, I won't call it defeat I'm just finding another way to my feet [Bridge] Maybe I don't need to know Where the road is gonna go Maybe all I need is faith And a little more grace If tomorrow brings rain I'll dance through it anyway 'Cause I've survived every storm And I'm still here today [Final Chorus] I'm moving forward, I ain't looking back I lost some things, but I found my path Even when the night gets heavy on me I tell myself, "Baby, you're gonna be okay" I'll be alright Even if it takes some time I'll be alright I can feel the sun coming through the blinds I'm letting go, I'm letting life unfold What's meant for me won't pass me by So I keep going, one day at a time I'll be alright [Outro] Yeah... I don't have to have it all figured out I just gotta keep moving One day at a time I'll be alright.
